First dive for Altitude Diving in Lake Atitlan House dives Volcanic vents: Agua Caliente The active fault line running down the hillside and under the lake creates areas or thermal activity. Plunge you hands into the silt to feel the boiling hot temperatures from below. The hotspots are also a favorite of the fish, making this a great site to see the elusive cichlid and a busy location during spawning season.

Rambo II A more advanced wall dive with a vertical swim through. Starting at 22m this chimney type space is only big enough for one diver at a time. Go through it, and emerge at the other end at 15m. Then continue up past volcanic formations and walls, plants fish and crabs.
