Certification without proper teaching
I got certified after doing a few dives of assisted ascents (and I'm not sure the last was any better than the firsts). No theory lessons, especially nothing on rescue and first aid which is supposed to be one of the main topics of the certification. Also these dives lasted 20min max. Don't expect to be able to see the spot, after all you're not on vacation are you ? On the bright side, for autonomous divers who like deep dive, there are many sites below 30 meters and security is taken very seriously.
