Because conditions were so "glassy" with no surge we decided to go through the split of the Island. Awesome dive with so many Grey Nurse and Wobbies. Finished dive with lovely gentle up through gantry wreckage. Lovely dive

Cleaning station dive this morning and MUCH better diving for Liz and me - better weighted, so got full value of the dives today - no sudden uncontrolled ascents. Weather was even better than yesterday - flat, calm, blue skies - visibility still very green and soupy though. Lots of fish and marine life today. Someone even saw a hammerhead (not us)

First dive of the Coffs/SW Rocks Ride Dive holiday. Familiarisation dive at Coffs Harbour, South Solitary Island. Grey Nurse, Wobbies, Grouper plus Nudies (for Liz and Rose). Weights issues for Liz on this dive (and 2nd) due to ankle weights being left at the wharf, and diving Aluminium tanks. As a result Liz (and I) had trouble staying down after about 30min into the dive, so both dives "called" after about 30min. That was OK by me as water temp was a little on the cool side (even though computer said 20 degrees).
