Nice Dive, whish I had my camera. shalow 25 down to 34. vid varried 5-15 murkey with lost of particles to fairly clear and little sunny/bright. Lots and lots of crabs and other life. Not many fish. Found the fishing rod :).
On the down side, leaky glove(s?), well reptty wet and god a little cold. had gear setup idot-ism's too. should have gearaed fully at car and headed straight down.
New dive budy from Aqua Safari club, katherine. newbish, but had fewer issue then me on land :). stupid wetsuit people lol.
Dove oceanic dive comp while d9 is gettin fixed. Hated having the extra cable, Do like the Datamax pro plus screen though.

Wharf Dive:
43 Minutes: Max depth 34 feet.
Vis: 5-15, particles dark to clear and bright.
Hi Folks, me and Katherine Mcmillen forged ahead braved it out at the Wharf. I had super low expectations. The last dive I did there years back I could barely see my gauge.
After some surface gear shenanigans we hit the water.
I was pleasantly surprised, it was pretty nice, certainly on par with break water on a low to average day.
Vis ran the gauntlet a bit, and got little more murky as we moved deeper. 5-15 feet or so with serious dramatic shifts in light and the particulate level.
Good flashlight is a must, My 1000k LED seemed up to the task ;)
Overall all completely acceptable, No surge, no swell. Low stress.
My only regret was not bringing my camera, there was a ton of life (though not many fish). I kept mentally counting all the nice shots I did not get.
My favorite moment was a pause when I was looking around for Katherine and a sea lion rolled by, and had one of us um, hey wait moments thinking it was her swimming away fast for second (must of been the fins ;).
Also found a fishing pole complete with tackle and small fish still caught. First time I think I have used my dive knife and anything that was not kelp, cut the line and brought it home with me as a trophy.
