A bit of real Kiwiana on the high seas and lovely sticky date pudding too.
What can I say . The skipper of this boat Jim Hope is a real character who genuinely loves spending time with his guests on the boat and regaling them with stories of dive times past in NZ. He knows where to point his boat and will readily advise of where the best sites are and will happily take you looking for new ones. I know he gets almost as big a kick out of the divers on his boat having a good dive as they do and I observed him making a comment about how good it was to hear the divers talking about how good their dive was. That moment has stuck with me and impressed me all over again . That sums him up . Its not the biggest boat but got probably one of the biggest personalities in NZ diving at the helm. Great company and memorable times.
