  • I began diving in 1987. I dove up and down the east coast of Florida on various wrecks. I also dove in Puerto Rico. We once set sail out of Ponce and did a vertical wall and stayed around 100 ft. but maxed out at 115 ft. I have been a volunteer firefighter since 1986 so breathing through a mask and operating in confined space is something I am comfortable with. I have also recovered numerous things for people in the north east (Long Island, NY) particularly keys, a ring, anchors and tools. I have also cleaned hulls on boats up to 40 ft. I have also done some ice diving in canals and pools. I all but stopped diving when my sons were born as it was difficult to find the time and I had seriously damaged my ear. Since then my sons are now young men and interested in diving and my ear seems to be holding up fine. My only regret is that I cannot locate my log book from 1987 until 2010.
