John Pennekamp Coral Reef ParkFirst dive in Key Largo. 3-4 foot waves and a strong surge underneath. Hard to swim against it. Several piles of coral reef in the area. A lot of lobster and a barracuda that followed me.

Rainbow RiverUsed my new purge mask for the second time. Zero problems going right under. Blowing out a lot of bubbles through the purge when I’m inhaling. Stops if I hold my nose. We were the only divers in area. Had Joseph’s GoPro hero + and used that for the first time. Enjoyed using it. But the pictures did not turn out great. Older gopro would like to get a newer one. Had trouble uploading pictures. Dove was good. Tons of fish and big bass. No struggles with new mask.

French ReefBeautiful reef with a lot of life. Tons of parrot fish. Saw a nurse shark that Frank went up behind and it swam away. Another nurse shark resting in a swim through. A lot of fish, large snapper and hogfish. Zero problems going down and worked on bounency Did fairly well with it this day.

Governs River Walk Wreck4 ft Rollers on the surface. First dive on the west coast. Almost successfully did negative entry on first dive. Came up and then went down within 30 seconds. 3.2 mm full wet suit. Held Frank's hand the entire time. Had a hard time staying upright during safety stop my bottom half kept floating up. Had a hard time getting on the boat with the rollers pulling my feet back under the boat. No problems with ears hurting or depth. Lots of fish on the four wreck pieces, but not a lot on the rock piles. Lots of angel fish. First dive with nitrox.
