Notas del buceador

Open water dive certification #1.
Quarry site, water temp high 50's, 7mm suit was very tight but warm and comfortable in water.
Started with 14# of wts, trouble descending to start out, so added total of 8# more to achieve desired buoyancy. Day 1 anxiousness is what the instructor said.

Skills demonstrated: giant stride entry, 1/2 mask clear at depth, regulator recovery at depth, natural navigation on the surface and at depth, hovering, controlled descent and ascent, self & buddy cramp relief, shallow water exit.

Observed good sized bass and blue gill sunfish, sunken car w/gnome statue, two boats, a swim through square and large pipe section.

Clear water made it an enjoyable dive, w/good practice on buoyancy.
