    Mizpah

Mizpah and PC1170. This was the 2nd drop and we landed right on the wreck. Very little current and decent vis. There were a few goliath groupers near the 2nd wreck. We were able to navigate to a 3rd wreck, but opted to spend time on the rocks looking for lionfish. Matt's computer was pushing him to surface, possibly a punishment for the miss drop. Tim, Aric, and Tim's wife opted not to re-drop.

    Juno Ledge (Shark Canyon)

Since my computer was in deco and wouldn't let me set my nitrox (I forgot to do it on the previous dive), I told the DM Matt that I would stick around him. Matt then showed me that he was diving with a stop watch. That worried me a little, but then decided to just do a shorter dive. Matt ended up hanging out with me anyways since everyone else took off in different directions. We found some Lionfish, Goliath Grouper, nurse sharks, an eel, and black tip reef sharks. All captured on my GoPro. Matt ran out of air in about 30 minutes which is about when I wanted to surface anyways.

    Evan's Crary

Went out with Stuart Scuba. Took my piece of shit mako speargun lobster/lionfish bag. Was hunting with the DM. He was using my bag for his catches. Large Lionfish everywhere. Had a near miss on a lf which I didn't have on the spear good. It swam towards me and around a corner. The next lf flinched as I was bagging it and I took a hit on my thumb and ring finger. Dropped the bag and let Mike know I was surfacing. It happened 20 minutes into the dive. There wasn't any hot water on the boat. The quantity of fish in the area was amazing. On descent there were fish everywhere on the edge of visibility. Barracuda would poke their heads within vis and disappear. The sea floor was blanketed in fish. Pretty cool site, just wish I could have bagged more lionfish. Going to buy a longer pole, zookeeper, and poke resistant gloves.

    Blue Heron Bridge (East)

First night dive. Dove with Joe and Joy (from Scubaboard). Saw a nurse shark under the east bridge. Rented 2 tanks from Force-E.
