Great Dive Dive from boat over the sea Grass, picked up by zodiac, ended up across the lagoon. Dived with Chris however Lois joined us during the dive after losing the guide. Viz was pretty poor with sand kicked up, Start of dive and found a snake eel almost immediately. After spending sometime with that one found a second not far away/ A Turtle then swam past with two large ramora in tow. After following the turtle found a second turtle and a large blotched ray. We followed that across and then found another turtle. We left that turtle and Chris found a pair of turtles. Managed to get close to several of the turtles while the ate sea grass. We then moved away only to find a Guitar Shark. Spent some time and then followed it for a while. We then went to try and head back towards the boat however e had covered quite a bit of distance. Sent up my DSMB however used my reg and ended up venting after the reg jammed open. Picked up in the zodiac. Great last dive of the liveaboard!!

1ere plongee de l annee et 1ere plongee en egypte avec lui pour ses 56 ans,1ere plongee au nitrox, he oui c est le jour de son anniversaire et notre 51eme plongee ensemble,avec monica la dive master,des vagues,du courant,pas de visi au depart,recif coralien de toute beaute,au menu,banc de petits barracudas,enorme thon,banc de carrangues,diodons,tetrodons,perroquets de toutes les couleurs,cochets,baliste bleu et un titan,raie pastenague a taches bleus,clowns,scorpion 70cm,rascasses volantes,baliste picasso,merous celestes,chirurgiens,monica nous montre plein de chose,elle est super,bref de la vrai belle plongee

1e bootduik van de dag. Met de zodiac (speedboot) naar elphinstone gevaren in 20 minuten ongeveer. achterover van de boot af gerold. Veel mooie vissen gezien en 2 rifhaaien. helaas geen hamerhaaien. was wel veel zwemmen tijdens de duik ivm harde stroming waar we tegenin moesten. Mijn diepste duik tot nu toe (49,6 mtr). Ook een mooie zwemmende murene gezien. duik was aan de noordzijde van elphinstone. iedereen bij de eerste duik een 15 ltr fles. Wel heel vroeg het bed uit omdat we om 5:30 met de bus naar de boot vertrokken. super mooie duik!

Last Dive of the Day on Eliphinstone reef . Dived over plateau and hang around the wall. Lucky enough to see a whale shark and two oceanic white tips hanging around in the blue. Few Barracudas, dogtooth tuna and napoleon fish were also about. Slight current about two knots along the wall so turned out a mini drift dive. One of the other dives was low on air after 35 mins so we had to ascent. No safety stop as last dive, Yassar my dive guide was great in pointing out the sea life. Top dive really enjoyed it.

After descending we followed the reef on the right shoulder and we turned back at 120 bars. The last 100m to the boat we had a very strong current against us. When we reached the safety stop I've lost the buoyancy and almost surfaced. I saw: • blue-spotted rays • Red Sea anemonefish • crown butterflyfish • blackbarred demoiselle • Indian longnose parrotfish • speckled sand perch Corrals: • fungi puamotensis • goniopora columna
